President Bush is in Beijing for the Olympics, a commanding presence not so much as our Commander In Chief as much as an enthusiastic mascot.The only flare missing on our President was the over sized styrofoam hand that signaled we're number one.

Irony did leap through my television, however, when President Bush discussed his feelings about Russia invading Georgia with military force last week.
"There needs to be international mediation", Bush said about the conflict.
